Rebellion Racing’s historic podium finish at Le Mans this weekend has delivered even more success for the hugely successful partnership between Gibson Technology & Grainger & Worrall.
As the exclusive castings provider for Gibson, Grainger & Worrall has supported the business for many years, designing and developing world-beating solutions covering both the LMP1 and LMP2 WEC race engine programmes. With a third-place finish at this year’s Le Mans as part of the Rebellion Racing LMP1 team, the partnership is continuing to make motorsport history.
Edward Grainger, managing director at Grainger & Worrall said: “We are thrilled with the result from Le Sarthe. The team has worked tirelessly to deliver lightweight engines that deliver power, performance and reliability in the world’s most legendary sports car endurance race. Congratulations to our friends at Gibson for another fantastic achievement.”
John Manchester, operations director at Gibson Technology, commented: “It’s a fantastic achievement to achieve a podium slot at Le Mans in the LMP1 class. Indeed, it is testament to the design and engineering excellence that goes into every individual Gibson engine. Such success would not be possible without the support of the team at Grainger & Worrall."
