G&W HAS BEEN NAMED BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AT THE MIA ANNUAL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The world’s leading total castings solutions provider, Grainger & Worrall, has been named Business of the Year at the Motorsport Industry Association’s (MIA) annual Business Excellence Awards. Held last night (8 January) at Birmingham’s NEC Arena, the national ceremony celebrated the achievements and successes of key automotive players across the UK motorsport sector.

Surpassing such high-profile names as the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team and Hewland Engineering, Grainger & Worrall was recognised for its outstanding business growth, investment in people and processes, and continued sales successes over the past 12 months, the judges were impressed by Grainger & Worrall’s sustained business expansion, as well as its significant contribution to the motorsport and wider automotive industries.

With sales now exceeding £40 million, Grainger & Worrall employs more than 500 staff at its UK facility in Shropshire. With annual export figures totalling 55% (£20m) of turnover, the high-precision engineering specialist continues to lead the way globally as the world’s foremost total casting solutions provider.
